ICYMI: Sen. Whitehouse Reminds Lindsey Graham of Wealthy Right-Wing Network That Shaped SCOTUS
Washington, D.C. — During the Supreme Court confirmation hearing, U.S. Senator Sheldon Whitehouse reminded his conservative colleagues on the Senate Judiciary Committee that the Judicial Crisis Network (JCN) — a right-wing special interest group a part of conservative activist Leonard Leo’s network — now attacking Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson’s historic nomination have previously spent millions of dollars handpicking and advancing Donald Trump’s SCOTUS nominees. Accountable.US has previously found that JCN spent at least $12.3 million on average to confirm each Trump Supreme Court nominee, totaling $37 million.
