Today, Paul Dans, the controversial head of Project 2025 at The Heritage Foundation, announced he is stepping aside. Despite this change in leadership, Project 2025 is moving forward and remains the blueprint for a future conservative administration. Heritage has vowed to continue vetting potential employees to fill roles throughout the federal government.

Project 2025 and the conservative movement remain one and the same. Many of the architects of the “Mandate for Leadership” held high-level positions in the Trump Administration, including individuals like Roger Severino and Stephen Miller. Five of the speakers at the Republican National Convention two weeks ago are affiliated with Project 2025, including individuals like Peter Navarro, Ben Carson, and Tom Homan.
