Washington, DC – Today, Accountable Pharma released the following statement on new reports that the Trump Administration left the incoming Biden Administration without any real plan to distribute vaccines across the country. This comes after Operation Warp Speed spent months claiming that they were working on distribution plans and telling states that they would be supporting their efforts. 

“This is even more of a debacle than we even imagined,” said Eli Zupnick, spokesman for Accountable Pharma. “The Trump Administration spent months pretending they had their act together on vaccine distribution, but it turns out that their plan was to dump the problem on the next Administration and hope that they were gone before anyone found out. Congress needs to move quickly to give states and the Biden Administration the resources they need to fix this mess. And we need to get to the bottom of how the Trump Administration’s Operation Warp Speed failed so spectacularly and created a distribution debacle that risks the lives of even more Americans.”
