Today, Speaker McCarthy announced the appointment of leading MAGA extremists to the House Oversight Committee. Among the committee’s new and returning members are Reps. Gosar, Taylor Greene, Boebert, Luna, Donalds, Perry, and Clyde — many of the most extreme Representatives in all of Congress.

Government watchdog Accountable.US released the following statement exposing Speaker McCarthy’s dangerous capitulation to the MAGA majority’s most extreme fringes, undoubtedly empowering them to launch politically-motivated investigations into the Biden Administration and the president’s family for partisan gain.
