Our research shows that Project 2025 is preparing a strategy to use the highest levels of government to control people’s bodies and restrict personal freedoms.

The initiative’s policy proposals target reproductive rights across at least 11 federal agencies, aiming to drastically limit access to essential healthcare. By weaponizing the federal government, Project 2025 seeks to roll back decades of progress in reproductive health, imposing top-down controls that would strip away the rights of individuals to make their own decisions.

The initiative’s agenda extends beyond reproductive rights, with a Health and Human Services manifesto led by anti-LGBTQ activist Roger Severino. This plan includes dismantling the CDC, imposing a nationwide abortion ban, and ending Medicare drug price negotiations, potentially jeopardizing access to life-saving medications for millions. Project 2025’s approach to healthcare reflects a disturbing disregard for personal autonomy, signaling a shift toward policies that prioritize ideology over individual rights and public health.
