Washington D.C. – Senator Rick Scott (R-FL), perhaps best known for overseeing one of the largest Medicare fraud schemes in U.S. history, is holding a press conference today on the looming default crisis after Scott gave a full-throated endorsement of the MAGA House’s extreme bill that holds the economy hostage until their demands are met that hurt average Americans. Scott is embracing the deep and harmful MAGA House cuts aimed directly at millions of seniors, veterans, workers, children and the food insecure, while leaving in place debt-ballooning tax breaks for billionaires and giant corporations.
