From the moment Rep. Kevin McCarthy and House Republicans knew they'd be in the majority, they haven't even pretended to address lowering costs for working people or shielding consumers from corporate greed. Instead, they’ve focused all their energy on pursuing political stunts to damage their political opponents and gain more power. The American people are tired of this divisive, partisan warfare. It’s unfortunate that the next House majority seems hellbent on pushing an extreme agenda that puts their partisan interests over helping working families.”
