Today, Accountable.US obtained the Leonard Leo-backed Federalist Society’s most recent tax filing. The Federalist Society, one of the largest legal organizations in the United States, regularly pushes conservative legal theories throughout its ranks and has ties to the last five conservative Supreme Court nominees. In its latest filing, it appears that Federalist Society reported paying Leo’s private firm, Creative Response Concepts (CRC) nearly $1.5 million for “media training.”
